Ocean & Climatic Research Institute (OACRI) is dedicated to advancing understanding of our oceans and atmosphere. Through cutting-edge research and collaboration, we seek to address the pressing challenges of climate change and its impact on marine ecosystems.

Mr. Pallawish K, Founder | CEO 

Mr. Kumar is the founder and visionary behind our research efforts. His passion for protecting our planet drives our team to make a difference.  As an educator, Pallawish has held roles in human resources training, disaster risk reduction, and environmental sustainability, mentoring young professionals and researchers. Ms. Lalita Tamang, Project Officer- Nepal

Ms. Lalita Tamang, a 20-year-old WWF Scholar from Nepal, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in forestry at the Institute of Forestry, Pokhara Campus. 

Ms.  Doris Gomesh, Research Officer

Ms. Doris is an Educator and researcher from Fiji, passionate about addressing climate change. Secondary school teacher with expertise in research and development, dedicated to creating a sustainable future.

Ms. Madhushi Pushpamali, Research Officer 

Madhushi is a Fisheries and Marine Science graduate from Sri Lanka, with a strong academic foundation and multiple awards recognizing her excellence. With a deep passion for Marine Conservation, Climate Resilience, and Ocean Exploration, she brings a well-rounded perspective to our research and conservation efforts.  

Ms. Dakshina Hathurusinghe, Content Editor 

Dakshina is an undergraduate student pursuing a BSc in Fisheries and Marine Science at Ocean University of Sri Lanka, with a deep passion for marine conservation and fisheries research. With experience in fisheries assessment, marine ecology, and sustainability, Dakshina has contributed to research projects and even co-authored a publication

Ms. Roshini Methusala, Senior Project Officer, Sri Lanka

Ms. Roshini Methusala, a dedicated marine scientist from Sri Lanka, brings her expertise to the Ocean and Climatic Research Institute. With a B.Sc. in Fisheries and Marine Sciences, she is actively engaged in turtle conservation and adaptation research, contributing to innovative solutions for marine biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.  

Ms. Claudine Cordova, IT Officer 

Ms. Claudine Cordova, an eco-conscious technology enthusiast with expertise in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. She is excited to bring her skills, leadership, and passion for sustainability to OACRI.

Ms. Adriana Hernández Bocanegra, Research Officer- Colombia 

Ms. Adriana Hernández Bocanegra: a educator in Bogotá (Colombia) with a profound interest in promoting peace education. She strongly believes in the transformative power of young people as agents of social change. .

Dr. Turner is a leading expert in climate modeling, using advanced techniques to predict the impact of climate change on our planet.

Mr.  Vinicius Mascarenhas, Research Officer- Brazil 

Mr. Vinicius Mascarenhas, Is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "Since I was very young, I've always felt a deep connection with nature, especially with the oceans and the atmosphere. This connection has sparked a passion in me for environmental preservation and a growing concern about climate change.
