We are thrilled to announce that the Ocean and Climatic Research Institute (OACRI) is now an official member of the Global Waste Cleaning Network (GWCN)! This exciting development marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to climate resilience, ocean conservation, and sustainable waste management.
As part of the world’s largest environmental and energy network, which spans across 187 countries, we’re excited to collaborate with a global community of passionate partners to create impactful, lasting change. This collaboration opens doors to vital knowledge sharing, strategic partnerships, and enhanced efforts in tackling the global waste crisis.
Over the next 36 months (March 2025 - February 2028), OACRI will work alongside GWCN members to help reduce carbon emissions, promote cleaner oceans, and advance sustainable waste management practices worldwide. By uniting our efforts with key stakeholders across the globe, we aim to push forward policies, projects, and initiatives that will shape a greener, healthier future for our planet.
