We are excited to announce that our CEO, Mr. Pallawish Kumar, recently participated in a high-level panel discussion on Disaster Risk Management and Early Warning Systems. The event brought together experts and leaders, including Kamal Kishore, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Disaster Risk Reduction and Head of UNDRR, and Mr. Boseiwaqa, the Director of the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).
The discussion focused on the importance of collaboration and innovation in creating effective early warning systems to build resilient communities, especially in the face of increasing climate threats. As climate change intensifies, early warning systems are essential to reduce risks and prepare communities for extreme weather events, such as storms, floods, and droughts.
At OACRI, we remain committed to advancing climate resilience and disaster preparedness. Our initiatives continue to focus on empowering communities with the knowledge and tools they need to adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change. Through innovative solutions and a collaborative approach, we believe we can create stronger, more resilient communities that are better equipped to face future challenges.
